Can you believe it, we are almost half way through 2015! This thought occurred to me when I stumbled across this informative article written at the end of 2014 – 20 Books Every Marketer Should Read in 2015 by Deanna Lazzaroni.
I felt good that I had read David Meerman Scott’s excellent book – The New Rules of Marketing & PR: How to Use Social Media, Online Video, Mobile Applications, Blogs, News Releases, and Viral Marketing to Reach Buyers. Now I have a great reading list for the rest of 2015 that will help me hone my content marketing skills!
The book, Youtility: Why Smart Marketing Is about Help Not Hype looks excellent!
I agree with Lazzaroni’s favorite takeaway from this book: “If you sell something, you make a customer today. But if you help someone, you create a customer for life.”
